Long time no see

Hello,

Bonjour y'all...

I know i know, it's been way to long since i last wrote a web log entry... actually, i don't really call it a blog, web log seems to come more naturally tome i don't know why... anyways it's been great.. i feel like i am writing to everybody personally.. and i guess thats a good thing theres always a day where you feel like you just wanna tell everybody everyting tats going on and today just seems to beone of those days.

Firstly, many thanks to new friends whom i added and whom added me haha, i guess i have been lazy with the messages but i will get on to them soon...

Geez it's been like nearly i dunno... one year since my last log... things have happened (like as if time stood still and everything went on without me), like when i return to singapore for visits haa!

Academically i survived haha, well, good enough i guess, its coming along, since attained my commercial pilots license and multiengine aircraft rating, the only thing that needs to me covered is the multiengine instrument rating and multi crew check. Sorry for all the aviation lingo, my ol buds from the airforce should know what i mean..

Anyways... i am going on exhange... to FRANCE!! Yahoo!! Got the call two days ago... i spend 10 weeks in antibes (south france) and 10 weeks in Paris.. then i look for an internship, if all goes well i will leave to paris on the 26th july and return on the 15t of feb next year.

Wells, thats should be ok for now, i needs to run off... not good to sit here typing, sweating after a game of squash haha

see you guys, take care... écrira encore bientôt

Break Time

Hello all!!

Well, here i am again, starting to (hopefully) regularly update my web log...

As mentioned earlier, nothing much happened in the social side of things this week, although i did get my Private Pilot's License... At six thirty in the morning!, flying around cloudy conditions and then shitting myself upon landing  seeing everybody else cancelled their flight and thinking i would get penalised for bad decision making to fly in bad weather... but luckily all turned on the brighter side.. phew.

So anyways, upon this little acheivement, comes my break away from Palmy, so off on a plane i flew (commercial) to where i am now in Auckland, City of Sails!!!! such a beautiful, sight, for once i see tall buildings, honking traffic, good clubs... :-)

Got myself up with some friends for a night out last night, toured a little of the clubbing scene, b4 finally setlling in on an Asian club called magarita's, i actually felt more of a minority asian because all others in the club were Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese!!! and of course... my kiwi and middle eastern friends, therefore making me the only Singaporean around!! First question usually asked upon me making new friends in the club was, "how come your english is so good?" Followed by a less flattering, "how come you so dark for a chinese?" haha... ok, so i am half malaysian, but so??? as if i dip myself in oil everyday... heh!

Loved to see auckland lined up with Red lanterns for CNY... Tonight will head to Mission bay for a beach party then to globe bar for yet another beach party, and hopefully (if still sober) end in Margartias once again as they have a CNY party tonight... and it's was PACKIN last night!!!!

Anywayz, my buddies should be arriving in about ten mins so gotta wrap this up...

Have a great Chinese New year, all my buddies back home, and to all others, enjoy your life, take it easy....

Wishing all good health for 2006,

Gong xi, gong xi ni! =)

Managed to get my 3 and a half weeks of in the the xmas and NY's break, been to HK for NYE, malaysia to visit my relatives and went out in SG only to notice how beautiful our little island and the people there are!(i kid you not)

Unfortunately, i have returned to my humble student home in Palmerston North, New Zealand... will keep your guys posted on the next few weeks. although i doubt there will be very much happening haha...

Cheers and take good care! May 2006 bring us many fruits and much luck! Gong Xi Fa Cai... ( I was born in the dog yr BTW haha, hopefully this year ain Unlucky for me, choi choi... touch wood)

Best wishes to all.

Cold start to a new phase

What a cold start to a new phase man... well i could say 14 degrees is ok byut it can get pretty chilly here in palmerston north (or palmy as the guys here call it), new zealand... just arrived yesterday and settled in pretty well already...

Met more americans than kiwi's! strange, i guess it's because we're all international students so we're just unsusre as each other as to how to get around...

nothing amazing happened today, other than that scary hail storm that hit me this morning, with pellets the size of golf balls... they still got some cover of the ice now!!

Way to go all blacks! beating the lions 38 to 19! pretty rowdy game even though the blacks already won the other two tests! lions good on ya! best play i've seen by the  out of the three games! too bad only managed one try though!

all well, i gotta sign out now... take a night and get ready for some grocery shopping tomorrow... sux for now til i get some form of vehicle... have to take multiple trips up and down the city for shopping..... ah well, at least the bus is free!
